Sandeep, currently based in Kampala, has been consulting for Thomson Reuters, for whom he advises governments, corporations, and non-profit research stakeholders on global research and development trends. Previously he was a Science & Technology Policy Fellow at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, supporting efforts on global bio-security policy & science diplomacy and an associate at the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin, where he conducted policy research on global energy governance.
Sandeep is passionate about the issues that lie at the node of science & technology, business, and government. As a scientist and entrepreneur, he knows how innovative technology can offer effective solutions to the even the most challenging global health & development problems. Sandeep holds a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Georgia Tech and a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. He has co-authored 8 scientific publications, several policy reports, and is an inventor of a patent.
